Zoe

Great course! Really enjoyed it. Lots of fun and a good balance of trying things out and reflecting together on what works and what doesn’t. Loved Jen’s experience and enthusiasm

Gabrielle

Generous teaching filled with humour, enthusiasm and joy. I learned skills that I can actually take home to continue practicing. I feel so much more confident in my musical improv abilities!

Jo

Oh god, Jennifer is a godsend - capable, caring, knowledgeable, loving warm human being that makes you feel like you’re learning by playing! The group came together like magic. I’m signing up for a beginner course to learn improv all over again Jennifer way. You know, stuff like that!!!!

Ralph

I loved this class! Not many places offer musical improv so I jumped on this opportunity quickly. The only downside was that it was a short intensive. I hope they bring this back as a full course because I’ll be on board in a heartbeat.

Felix

I never thought I would want to repeat a course so much in my life but I would do this class every day if I could. How was it the most fun I’ve ever had? Probably because the teacher is a delightful and welcoming master of improv!

Kitty

Jennifer is good at bringing in energy and enthusiasm. Nice building up to singing through games and fun exercises. The longer into the workshop the more relaxed everyone got around eachother which is perfect for giving musical improv a go

Tony

In my opinion Claire is a wonderful improv trainer. She is skilled at sharing her experience and knowledge. Claire creates a safe, inclusive environment and provides valuable feedback. Thank you Claire

Matt Powell is an eagle eyed, curious teacher who’s adept skills at improvising allow him to create a class environment that is tailor-made to what the students need. He is the perfect balance of play and knowledge of how-to unlock an individuals potential.

Rachael

A great course for anyone who wants to learn improv in a fun and safe space.

This workshop with Steven was the ideal way to kick start my 2020 Improv journey. It’s the first time I’ve trained with Steven and I was impressed. His high energy, knowledge, and humour combined to create a very worthwhile and enjoyable workshop. I had some light-bulb moments as the workshop progressed. The 3 hours just flew by.

It was the first time I’d been to Te Auaha and I was impressed with the venue.

Thank you Locomotive for providing this opportunity to train with Steven. If you can get him back again later in the year that would be super.

Sadie

I liked that everyone got turns and the tone was very positive.
